How to change TO address of outbound SIP INVITE

Posted:Fri 27 of Mar, 2009 (12:02 UTC)
Hi.

I faced issue. Please advice how Asterisk can help if it can of couse.

My SIP phone calls to asterisk and TO: field is t213@192.168.7.5
Ip address 192.168.7.5 is Asterisk IP.
Asterisk has extention record:
[to-soft-switch-phones]
exten => t213,1,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN}@soft-switch-out,60,rt)

The soft-switch-out is block in sip.conf
Here it is
[soft-switch-out]
type=friend
context=to-main
secret=t138
defaultuser=t138
fromuser=t138
fromdomain=mydomain.com
host=192.168.1.6
transport=udp,tcp ; This sets the transport type to udp for outgoing, and will
insecure=invite,port

Here host contains IP address of soft switch (something like that)

Finally I get INVITE sending to soft switch where address From: is correct (it looks like t138@mydomain.com)
But field To: looks like t213@192.168.1.5

That is my issue. 8-(
Soft switch wants field To: as t213@mydomain.com but it recieves t213@192.168.1.5

May I use Asterisk to put domain insead IP address?

Soft phone doesn't allow this. And I can't suppose which soph phones will be used in the future.

P.S. DNS is not used at all in the network.
