I have been truggling to configure a Polycom Soundpoint 501 IP phone to an Axon Virtual PBX system and wondered if anyone had seen this issue or could offer any pointers.
The phone is already configured (on Line 1) to connect to a hosted IP Phone solution vendor and I want to configure Line 2 to connect to our own internal Virtual PBX solution by NCH Software (Axon Virtual PBX). I also have several softphones (X-Lite) and an additional desktop IP phone (an Aastra 480i) successfully connected and registered with the PBX.
The problem is that when I try to make a call on Line 2 the phone default to the hosted IP vendor and tries to dial a "public" number and not the internal system.
If I place a call TO this phone it is fine.
If I try to MAKE a call from this phone (on Line 2) it seems to default to Line 1 and tries to make a call through the external vendor system.
Anyone have any ideas please?
