Here how it was finally possible to get it working:

-> Get an account from a provider with a public accessible (PSTN) telephone number.
-> Install this account in sip.conf and extensions.conf in order to receive calls
-> Verify whether you can really receive incoming calls on this number

Once the account is working it can now be changed that any incoming calls (from any person) goes directly to the Voicemail-menue. It therefore has to be protected by a strong password.

In sip.conf you will have for this account under the incoming part something like
...
context=incoming

In extensions.conf you will have for this account something like this under the context:
incoming
exten => RSTUVWXYZ,1,.....

In order to access the voicemail-menue by calling this number we

-> change in sip.conf for this account
context=incoming to e.g: context=MailboxPSTN

-> add in extension.conf a new context:
MailboxPSTN
exten => RSTUVWXYZ,1,Answer()
exten => RSTUVWXYZ,n,wait,1
exten => RSTUVWXYZ,n,Authenticate,111222333||9
; use a strong password with e.g. at least 6 numeric characters, here we have 9
exten => RSTUVWXYZ,n,voicemailmain
exten => RSTUVWXYZ,n,hangup

-> The previous entry under the context incoming
exten => RSTUVWXYZ,1,.....
can now be deleted

Hopefully it also works for you. Good luck.

Google couldn't help me this time. May I therefore ask here whether someone is able to give me a hint on how it can be made possible to access the voicemail-options from an external phone. Thanks for your help!
