A PAP-2, or equivalent, won't do it. This is because the PAP-2 provides two FXS interfaces, as does the analog port of your PBX. You need a device that provides an FXO interface to mate with your PBX's FXS. A device like the SPA-3000 or SPA-3102 has one FXS and one FXO, giving you the FXO interface you need.

Analog PBX - Linksys PAP2 - Asterisk

Posted:Tue 31 of Jan, 2012 (02:05 UTC)
hello, the issue is actually "the other way arround as the usual"

i want to bring a Analog signal (served from a ISDN PBX (analog out)) to a Asterisk PBX at anither location.
is it possible to do this with a linksys PAP2 or something semilar ?

basically i want to have the Analog PBX Extention avaiable on the Remote Asterisk PBX as Analog or SIP Port (both avaiable)

any ideas how to accomplish somethings like this ?
