Need help set up Cisco SIP 7941/7961 with GV on Obi202

Posted:Sat 29 of Aug, 2015 (05:42 UTC)
Hi All,
I'm new to this forum, and well, new to VoIP technology in general. I had a couple phone laying around my house and thought I could make good use of them by connecting them to my Obi202 device with Google Voice. I found a site online where someone showed that they successfully connected their Cisco SIP phone with their Obi202 device and it works great. I followed the same steps but I can't get these things to work for the life of me. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated! I followed the instructions on Topic 5595.0 on obitalk forums (I can't post links here) and below is what my .cnf.xml file looks like:

  • Note: the g711ulaw you see misplaced has "preferredcodec" before and after it. I'm not sure why this page wont show it though.
