I'm an inexperienced SIP server administrator in the process of implementing a campus-wide VOIP system at Kauai's Hindu Monastery.

Our SIP Server

We're using CommuniGate Pro as our PBX--have been using it for years for e-mail and now version 5 has full SIP/real-time functionality.

SIP Products We're Testing

• Currently we're testing the following phones: eyeBeam by Xten as a softphone, the Linksys WIP300 wifi phone and the Linksys SPA-841 phone with the WBP54G wifi bridge.
• We are also testing a Sipura SPA-3000 for connecting to our existing onsite PSTN lines.

VOIP Providers We're Testing

We're also attempting to connect our server to various VOIP service providers, namely BroadVoice and VoicePulse, for the connection of both incoming and outgoing calls from/to the PSTN.
