Do you think it is time for you to advance to T1 Internet? There are of course tons of reasons to evaluate and discuss when deciding to evaluate your current Broadband connection and the possibility reasons you may decide of replacing it. For many humans the biggest factor is reliability and if reliability is critical to the applications you run over your connection you should seriously look at replacing your Internet connection with a T1. Broadband is faster and a cost effective way of getting high speed Internet however it should not be intended to support business applications or big numbers of users as a T1 connection may.

Reliability becomes critical when consumers or workers depend on your bandwidth for an immediate response from your Internet. If your consumers use your connection to access your database or your web server or the Internet then reliability of your connection is of course very important. If in turn your workers depend on your Internet because you are hosting the e-mail server in your location or are hosting web servers, your connection is totally very important. Bandwidth can be looked at like a life line for you, without it your company may be badly impacted. The monthly price reduction of having a terrible connection will not make up for the failure in production of your workers or failure of consumers when your DSL connection gets slowed down or dies on you. To conclude, important connections should be supported mainly with a T1 that is dedicated. (cont below)

Many consumers are highly cost sensitive and cannot afford to pay the cost of a T1 which can be as much as 10 times more expensive than a full T1 Line. Home consumers who are most alert to pricing should not evaluate a T1 broadband line unless then have a company reason to pay for such mbps and cannot access regular Broadband service. Most humans don't realize that a Broadband connection can be just as fast and speedy as a T1 at 1.5 Mbps. The shortcoming of Broadband is that it is oversubscribed. This means there is a finite amount of bandwidth available and a consumers speed can drop if other consumers in the area decide to use their service. SBroadband (Synchronous Broadband) is a company class Broadband and is ranked as a higher priority than residential Broadband or ADSL (Asunchronous Broadband). This means it is not oversubscribed to the extent than ADSL and is subject to less connectivity restrictions. In conclusion, if cost is your main reason then go with Broadband. If reliability is the main factor buy a T1 Line.
