  • Nick Barnes, Thu 08 of May, 2008 [13:44 UTC]: Christopher - I can't see any way in which an Asterisk installation would muck your GUI, but remember that it is advised not to use a GUI on an Asterisk box anyway.

why 250k?

by jgabriels on Monday 31 of January, 2005 [00:32:15 UTC]
iaxcomm is only 589k and works great. It could easily fit on a floppy twice.
Why would you want to sacrifice features to try to squeeze into 250k?
Just curious, that's all, with cdroms offering 650+ megs of storage and
most users who would be interested in VOIP already having broadband
with 1M+ download speeds, why such a small footprint requirement?
Edit

COOL!
