Coiled handset cord for SPA941
Hi,
I've just bought a SPA941 phone, but it was delivered without ethernet cable/handset cord. I would like to buy a handset cord for it, but I do not know which type should I look for. There are codes like RJ-11, RJ-12, RJ-7, etc. Which one should I choose?

Re: Personal Directory
Hi Keith,
<Speed_Dial_2 ua="rw"></Speed_Dial_2>
<Speed_Dial_3 ua="rw"></Speed_Dial_3>
<Speed_Dial_4 ua="rw"></Speed_Dial_4>
<Speed_Dial_5 ua="rw"></Speed_Dial_5>
<Speed_Dial_6 ua="rw"></Speed_Dial_6>
<Speed_Dial_7 ua="rw"></Speed_Dial_7>
<Speed_Dial_8 ua="rw"></Speed_Dial_8>
<Speed_Dial_9 ua="rw"></Speed_Dial_9>
Using these are the only ways to populate the directory, AFAIK.
Great phone otherwise. I nstalled a large installation and didn't pay attention to the fact that Resync_Periodic reboots the phone every time it resync's...other than that, no issues.

Re: Personal Directory
I must re-ask the Personal Directory Question. Does Anyone know the XML that will provision the Personal Directory on the SPA-9xx?
I've Tried Tags:
Personal_Directory_1
Directory_1
..._1_
w/ ua="na" and ua="rw"
With Variations to no avail.

Line status monitor
I try to setup the line status monitor on my SPA942.
Asterisk handle well the status of the line but the phone doesn't show it and I don't find any information about the configuration needed by the SPA942.
If somebody has already setup thi feature on this phone please feel free to tell me :)

Shared Line Appearances
Does anyone know if there is any way at all to use the shared line appearances for this phone? I would like to be able to put a call on hold on one phone and retrieve it on another. Any other ideas?

No BLF hurts the phone
No
BLF
hurts the phone IMO. Most business customers want some kind of BLF. Thats whats made it a hard sell for me, plus you gotta pay extra to get a 10BT switch and poe? whats up with that, a 10BT switch is a joke. I have showed this phone to many customers they all pick another phone, i personally agree its a great built phone, rock solid, amazing it hasnt needed a firmware update cause it just works. But like i said, BLF is important.

You can feel the Cisco quality...
I've had one of these guys for about a week now. Getting ready to deploy an AAH2.6 system with around 20-25 phones. (Did preliminary testing with GXP-2000 phones, but their quality was not good enough in my opinion.) I updated the wiki entry with some links that will hopefully be helpful to everyone else out there using these. Eventually Linksys will start hosting all the files related to this phone on their website, but until then just use the links from Sipura's website.
All in all, I agree with Leo about these phones being worth $150. Like I said... you can feel the Cisco quality.

Hi, I have been playing with this phone for a week now, and I have to say, man, This phone ROCKS, excellent audio quality, excelent presentation, very easy to use, tons of functions, physically attractive, good looking, made with very good materials.
I took me 10 minutes to figure out how to basically use and program it, just go to the network functions on the display, see what IP was assigned to it, and enter via web browser, configure basic parameters and that's it.
Also, it seems that support secure voice path (voice encription) No idea how to use it, but looks interesting for future tests :), In the documentation says that it could be upgraded to 4 line, no idea how, where, and at what cost, anyone knows this?.
Perhaps $ 150 may look a little high but I think that it worth it.
