Asterisk-specific .0075 rate WHERE, exactly?
Where does this super-low rate appear on their site? The site is spartan and very economical with actual information.

Deep discount, rates and service
The new $0.0075 rate for Asterisk only is tempting, and after some delay the account was provisioned as suggested. Two main issues: at that rate you get only the GSM codec, and the outgoing caller ID is set to their business office number. Sort of the equivalent of cheap business cards with the printer's name on the back.

More info
I have been using this service for a few months. They definately are not the most reliable service provider as I have gotten "network congestion, try again later" messages many times. I recently purchased a Sipura SPA-1001 and have configured it to use this service. The call quality with the SPA-1001 is ok, but it is not as good as a PSTN line or cell phone.
If you don't mind outages and subpar voice quality, they have great rates. Otherwise, you may want to look elsewhere.

Re: 403 Forbidden
Here is the deal. ibell.us claims to support G711u, G723, G729, and GSM. However, only G711u is working. I am using the X-Lite softphone. If you leave other protocols besides G711u enabled, you will get 403 errors. To make the service work, disable all protocols except G711u in your softphone, then the calls will go through.
Also, their web site appears a bit confused. I get an "under construction" page when I go to www.ibell.us. However www.ibell.us/default.asp gets me into the site.

yeah, I haven't been able to make calls since late 11/23. They appear to be working on their website, see http://www.ibell.us/rates.asp. Anyway, it doesn't matter how good the site looks if the service doesn't work all the time!

Dead?
I've been getting 403 Forbidden errors for a couple of weeks, and the web site has been reduced to a single page. I would not recommend sending them any money for a new account, unless they get things straightened out.

well, looks like they're down again. This time, I can't ping their sip nor their http server. Blah

I concur with the previous poster. I have been using this service for about a month now, and call quality is fairly good. There seems to only be one person working there, or at least answering all emails. Account credit/recharge is not automatic, so buy your credits before the weekend! The FAQ describes a login page where customers can view their billing details, but that page isn't even up yet. Otherwise, the calls are relatively cheap and the service works well. I've experienced two outages so far, the first of which was apparently a codec server going down. They haven't replied to my email about the second outage. YMMV.

Ok provider, great rates
In my experience, this company doesn't respond to technical support e-mails. Also, their telephone support isn't very helpful. However, if you are willing to put up with poor support, you will get extremely good rates. The call quality is reasonable as well.
