Voxee - uncommon sense business
Let me post a short conversation between me and Voxee's rep about retrieving my voxee account's password. It seems that they have right to delete your account with REAL MONEY in it for a rediculous reason
You will need to re-signup, however we're not taking any new customers
at this time.
Thank you.
You guy should have notified me, your customer, before you delete my account because you changed your platform or whatever which is not my fault.
It looked like they did not want to reply me any more.

Out of Business
Looks like they stopped taking calls sometime in early 2007. Their site still tries to take your money, tho.

Degraded quality lately
I switched to Voxee just over a year ago because voice quality was superior to what I was using, however in the last few months call quality was unbearable with Voxee, so I've switched back to my the old provider.

Support is non-existent
We made our PayPal payment four days ago, and Voxee still hasn't credited our account. We've opened four tickets, and they have not responded to them.
Is Voxee going bankrupt?
I would stay away from them.

Good prices ZERO Support
Voxee has ZERO support. If your signup does not go smoothly you're on your own. I recommended this service to some who cannot log into account. 5 days later not one person has tried to resolve the issue. If they can't fix a registration issue I can't imagine how they would respond to a real technical issue.

Not impressed by my first week of service
1) Only 1 of the 3 servers works: ny-gw1.voxee.com (66.246.246.52)
The west coast server has a much lower ping time from my location (Seattle) but unfortunately it doesn't work
2) incoming voice cuts off after about 2 seconds of steady transmission. I have tested this with several friends. Short, brief bits of conversation rarely cut out but when people try to talk to me for longer than a few seconds they get cut off.
3) Customer service has never responded to ANYTHING. This is the most disappointing aspect by far. Given the great rate I didn't expect great service but this is pathetic.

2 month review
I've been testing Voxee for about 2 months. Quality on the ny-gw1 server was unacceptable, after adding additional servers the quality seems to have improved. However reliability has been a key issue. There have been numerous server outages I've logged using a simple ping test every 5 minutes. Support has responded to 2 of my 3 e-mails, it's possible the 3rd got lost in transit. They're a new company and still growing, but reliability is my highest priority.
