OK I figured out my own problem.
The channel string returned by "show channels" was truncated and not usable for the redirect command.
I got redirect to work using the "status" command instead. It returned the full channel string even with long channel names. I was then able to use that string with the redirect command.

Redirect not working for me for external calls

Hi,

Hope someone can help.
The example works for me with a call originating from a local extension but not from an incoming call.
When a call comes in I first connect it to an outside number (Voxeo) for VoiceXML handling. When I finally figure out where to send the call I try to use Redirect to switch it from Voxeo to a new outside number. This works great when the original call came from a local extension but when it is an incoming call from outside I get the error "Channel does not exist"

asterisk action to listen a call

there are a asterisk's Action that listen the conversation of a agent on call?
