Asterisk Flash Operator Panel

Asternic: The real-time Asterisk visual operator panel

Flash Operator Panel displays information about your Asterisk PBX activity in real time via a standard web browser with Flash plugin. The display and button layout is configurable, you can have more that a 100 buttons on the screen at once. It also supports contexts: you can have one server running and many different client displays (for hosted PBX, different departments, etc). It can monitor several asterisk servers at once. It can integrate with CRM software, by popping up a web page (and passing the CLID) when a specified button is ringing, and it also can be used to enable click-to-dial for web based applications.

You can see at a glance:
  • What extensions are busy, ringing or available
  • Who is talking and to whom (clid, context, priority)
  • SIP registration status and reachability
  • Meetme room status (number of users) in the room
  • Queue status (number of users waiting)
  • Message Waiting Indicator and count
  • Parked channels
  • Logged in agents or queue members
  • Last call details
  • Details for queues and agents

You can perform these actions:
  • Hang-up a channel (double click the colored dot on the button)
  • Transfer a call leg via drag&drop (drag the phone icon on a button to another button)
  • Originate calls via drag&drop
  • Barge in on a call using drag&drop
  • Set the caller id when transferring or originating a call
  • Automatically pop up web page with customer details
  • Click-To-Dial, click on a web link to fire a dial command
  • Set the absolute timeout for a call when transferring

Re: FOP for Asterisk/MySQL configuration

by rodriguez_chapa on Wednesday 05 of July, 2006 [21:22:06 UTC]
I just received this answer from FOP creators:

  Hi Marco,

FOP does not read the config files. It works with Asterisk Realtime. Some things (in Asterisk, no in FOP) should be enabled
with  rtcachefriends to work properly...among others the command 'sip show peers' which is used by FOP. Even without this option,
  FOP works very well.

  Cheers

Original text in spanish:

  Hola Marco,

  Saludos,

Regards
/Marco

FOP for Asterisk/MySQL configuration

by rodriguez_chapa on Tuesday 04 of July, 2006 [23:34:44 UTC]
Hi,

does any one know if Flash Operator Panel supports an Asterisk/MySQL configuration?
My first thought is that FOP reads from .conf files and those are empty on my configuration.

Any comment/suggestion will be apreciated.

Regards
/Marco

FOP on Windows

by The_Duke87 on Sunday 21 of May, 2006 [10:49:10 UTC]
I've installed Perl and edited the op_server.cfg. When the FOP starts, it sais it could not listen on port 4445, changing the port doesn' work. If i comment the line where the listen-socket is created out, the script conects to asterisk but logically i can't connect to the FOP-server...
Can anyone help me?

Version 0.15 and above

by Anonymous on Monday 25 of October, 2004 [22:21:06 UTC]
Just a hint for peoples upgrading to or install a fresh version of 0.15 and above.... If you missing Label and other settings, upgrade your Macromedia Flash to version 7, it will fix the problem.

Hope this will help someone (:surprised:)
