Basis Talk Is Awesome (I'd Recommend)

I don't know why people who review it bash it so much! That was one of the things that made me hesitant to get it but I did anyway and I'm so glad I did! Basic Talk is by far one of the best home phone services I've ever had! Cheep, affordable, and reliable! The only 3 flaws I would have to mention is there is no Call Forwarding which isn't too big of a deal for me personally, if you don't already have your own local number to take with you they don't provide you with a local number!, and customer service is all online with no number you can call. I had to contact them once through email and didn't end up responding to the email back from the agent so they ended up calling me and I spoke with someone. That is the best way to get a person I think. Aside from all of that it's great and I have no complaints about it! If you are thinking about purchasing it the best thing to do would be to buy online. They do not charge you for the modem and send it to you with free shipping and only charge you for the first month of service. It's also very easy to do your number transfer that way. For me it only took about 4 days! It saves you a great deal of money! I'd definitely recommend!

I have had Basic Talk for 6 months and absolutely love it. Set up was a breeze and I have not encountered any problems whatsoever. I love the fact that you can log into your Basic Talk account and listen to your voice mails and see a daily summary of of your incoming and outgoing calls. I love everything about Basic Talk and would recommend it to anyone. It works flawlessly and the price can't be beat
