The Good:

Easy to set up, always works

The Bad:

We use basic talk for our home phone service and have never had any issues whatsoever. Set up was a breeze and we haven't had any issues with dropped calls or poor service. Would recommend them to anyone who wants good, simple, affordable phone service.

The Good:

Price Easy to use

The Bad:

I love to save money and I am saving a bundle with the unlimited domestic calling. I am so happy to not to have to pay for calls to my daughter upstate and my son in Florida. I mean just my in state calls were killing me since my daughter had he first baby we have been talking a lot more and for long periods of time and it really added up. It was very easy to set up and start using and the quality has been good. I would recommend to anyone.

The Good:

None

The Bad:

Everything

I subscribed to BT in mid December. It is now Jan. 7 and I still have no service. Their customer service, if you can call it that, is useless. The problem is that I want to transfer my present number. BT just can't seem to manage this even though they SAY they offer this service. I just keep getting emails asking for the account # I want to transfer even though I have given it to them several times. They are still scratching their heads over the number transfer. Contacting them to complain is next to impossible. I posted a complaint on their Facebook page and got a lame response. Then they deleted my FB complaint. Steer clear of them. They are either totally incompetent or fraudulent.

I have had Basic Talk for 6 months and absolutely love it. Set up was a breeze and I have not encountered any problems whatsoever. I love the fact that you can log into your Basic Talk account and listen to your voice mails and see a daily summary of of your incoming and outgoing calls. I love everything about Basic Talk and would recommend it to anyone. It works flawlessly and the price can't be beat
