CPC = Calling Party Control
Signaling used to indicate that the calling party has hung up.
Usually an open loop disconnect, but sometimes on older equipment its a battery reversal.
Lack of CPC can cause problems when interfacing voice mail and other systems that depend on knowing when the callling party disconnects.
