Clipcomm VOIP ATA and Gateways

VoIP telephone adaptor (One-port) CG-100

Clipcomm CG-100 is a multi-function single-channel VoIP Telephone Adaptor (TA), which implements the essential functions for a residential gateway for home and SOHO users.
The integrated dual switched Ethernet ports allow the co-located PCs' direct connection to the Internet by using single WAN connectivity. Invoking answering machine function and retrieving recorded voice message is just as easy as pushing a dedicated button on the CG-100.
Even in case of catastrophic power failure, CG-100 still guarantees uninterruptible connection to the traditional PSTN.
  • 2 RJ-45 (10/100 base-T)
  • 1 FXS RJ-11 / 1 PSTN Backup
  • H.323 v4 / SIP (RFC3261)
  • G.711, G.723.1A, G.729AB
  • Network connection: Private lines/ ADSL modems using PPPoE/ Cable modems

VoIP telephone adaptor (Wi-Fi Extensible, one-port) CG-101E

Clipcomm CG-101E is a multi-function single-channel VoIP Telephone Adaptor (TA) that is designed to connect an analog telephone to both IP network and traditional PSTN network. The integrated dual switched Ethernet ports allow the co-located PCs' direct connection to the Internet by using single WAN connectivity.
CG-101E additionally supports remote-access FXO gateway functions. Users even at a remote site can access the CG-101E by PSTN (or IP) in order to make a phone call to another IP (or PSTN) phone. Invoking answering machine function and retrieving recorded voice message is just as easy as pushing a dedicated button on the CG-101E.
Even in the case of catastrophic power failure, CG-101E still guarantees uninterruptible connection to the traditional PSTN.
  • 2 RJ-45 (10/100 base-T)
  • 1 FXS RJ-11 / 1 PSTN Backup RJ-11
  • H.323 v4 / SIP (RFC3261)
  • G.711, G.723.1A, G.729AB
  • IEEE 802.11b Extension for WALN AP or Station function (additional IEEE 802.11b PCMCIA card required)
  • Remote-access FXO gateway function
  • Network connection: Private lines/ ADSL modems using PPPoE/ Cable modems

Analog VoIP Gateway (Two-port) CG-200

Clipcomm CG-200 is a multi-channel analog VoIP gateway that connects the analog telephones and/or G3 FAX machines to both IP network and traditional PSTN network. CG-200 offers a toll quality voice and real-time FAX over IP to easily deploy IP-PBX based intelligent office network.
The integrated dual switched Ethernet port of CG-200 allows the co-located PCs' direct connection to the Internet using single WAN connectivity.
Even in the case of catastrophic power failure, CG-200 still guarantees uninterruptible connection to the traditional PSTN.
  • 2 RJ-45 (10/100 base-T)
  • 2 FXS RJ-11 / 1 PSTN Backup
  • H.323 v4 / SIP (RFC3261)
  • G.711, G.723.1A, G.729AB
  • Network connection: Private lines/ ADSL modems using PPPoE/ Cable modems

Analog VoIP Gateway (Wi-Fi Extensible, two-port) CG-201E

CG-201E is a two-channel analog VoIP gateway that is designed to connect analog telephones and/or G3 FAX machines to both IP network and traditional PSTN network. The integrated dual switched Ethernet port of CG-201E allows the co-located PCs' direct connection to the Internet using single WAN connectivity.
CG-201E supports the enhanced remote-access FXO gateway function that enables users even at a remote site to access the CG-201E by PSTN (or IP) in order to make a phone call to another IP (or PSTN) phone.
Specially, CG-201E has a unique wireless-extensible feature that makes the range of its application areas become much broader. Once an IEEE 802.11b PCMCIA card is inserted into the CG-201E's extension slot, it becomes either a WLAN 'access point' for nearby mobile terminals or WLAN 'station' that can be wirelessly connected to the Internet through nearby access points, which will greatly enhance its applicability by removing UTP cabling.
  • 2 RJ-45 (10/100 base-T)
  • 2 FXS RJ-11 / 1 PSTN Backup RJ-11
  • H.323 v4 / SIP (RFC3261)
  • G.711, G.723.1A, G.729AB
  • IEEE 802.11b Extension for WALN AP or Station function (additional IEEE 802.11b PCMCIA card required)
  • Remote-access FXO gateway function
  • Network connection: Private lines/ ADSL modems using PPPoE/ Cable modems

Analog VoIP Gateway (Four-port FXS gateway) CG-400

Clipcomm CG-400 is a new 4-channel FXS gateway that switches the protocol and the voice signals between the PSTN and the VoIP network. CG-400 enables the customers to take advantage of the VoIP services while using their legacy analog phone, PBX or the PSTN line.
CG-400 can be connected to analog PBX or key telephone systems together with Clipcomm CG-410, the four-channel FXO gateway. This turns the analog PBX or key telephone systems into VoIP-enabled one with very low cost per channel.
  • 2 RJ-45 (10/100 base-T)
  • 4 FXS(RJ-11)
  • H.323 v4 / SIP (RFC3261)
  • G.711, G.723.1A, G.729AB
  • Network connection: Private lines/ ADSL modems using PPPoE/ Cable modems

Analog VoIP Gateway (Four-port FXO gateway) CG-410

Clipcomm' CG-410 is a new 4-channel FXO gateway that can be deployed as a part of IP-PBX or as an IP gateway that connects up to four internal PBX lines to the IP-based voice network. When a remote VoIP user wants to make a call to a local PSTN number through CG-410’s FXO port, the user only has to dial the PSTN number without dialing two times, i.e., CG-410’s VoIP number and the local PSTN number. This optional feature, named as ‘one-stage FXO gateway function,’ is very useful for many ITSPs who want to provide easy PSTN access service to their subscribers with very low system cost.
The Call Progress Tone Detection (CPTD) function in the CG-410 covers various tone configurations over 20 countries and are to expand the range of it. Because of CG-410’s optimized digital signal processing and the embedded networking technology to target channel capacity, CG-410 is well suited for small and medium enterprise (SME), SOHO and VoIP solution providers with its high quality and competitive price per channel.
  • 2 RJ-45 (10/100 base-T)
  • FXO (RJ-11)
  • H.323 v4 / SIP (RFC3261)
  • G.711, G.723.1A, G.729AB

Anyone using these?

by Chip Schweiss on Thursday 19 of January, 2006 [15:45:41 UTC]
Is anyone using the Clipcomm FXO ports? How is their quality and especially how is their echo cancelation? I'm looking for an alternative to the Sipura SPA 3000 FXO ports that are a real pain to eliminate echo on.
