Free PBX, trixbox, Elastix... Asterisk dial plan exampleThere are three contexts in this dial plan.
The first context handles outbound calls and protects outbound calling with a password.
The second context handles inbound calls - during the working hours the call will be returned back to the Free PBX to be routed as defined by the Free PBX. Otherwise the call will be routed to the company's IVR defined in the self-service-ivr context.
The company IVR, defined in the third context, will be played to the callers after the business hours.
This is very simple IVR made just to demonstrate this capability:
- if caller selects 0 the working hours voice file will be presented and then the call will hand up
- if caller selects 1 the news voice file will be played and then the call will hang up
