333Poor voice quality on these units

We installed a couple of GXW-4108's in order to connect POTS lines into our Asterisk system. We were forced to abandon them after enduring several weeks of complaints from angry users. Voice quality was unacceptable. There was a lot of clipping and distortion, even with a dedicated Ethernet path from Asterisk to the GXW's. This was disappointing because they seemed to be the right solution at the right price. We ended up putting a T1 card in our Asterisk box and fanning out FXO through a channel bank.
