History:


Live-Tech was founded in 2002 by entrepreneur Ludy Chacon with the sole purpose of providing South Florida with exceptional On-site Technical Support Services, Complete Networking Solutions, Web Development, Point of Sale Software Development and Full IT Consultation.

Early 2003 Live-Tech began noticing its impact with the South Florida businesses and was being recognized as a company that provides “EXCELLENT On-site Services & IT Consultations.” Live-Tech then went on to provide On-site Services for CompUSA, expanding our South Florida area to a National exposure in the IT world.

Late 2003 during an IT consultation with a customer, they had a need for a Small Office PBX phone system. Live-Tech did its homework and found CentrePoint Technologies out of Canada. CentrePoint is a company dedicated solely on developing small business PBX Phone Systems called “TalkSwitch”. Immediately Live-Tech starts working with TalkSwitch and ventures off into the Hybrid Telephony field. As the years have gone by Live-Tech now stands as a TOP TalkSwitch Vendor. RoHS compliant
Unlike many of the electronic products on the market in North America today, TalkSwitch systems are compliant with the strict RoHS regulations of the European Union. RoHS stands for the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. It bans the use of more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants. Although regulators in the US, Canada and Mexico have yet to adopt these standards, TalkSwitch systems have been RoHS compliant since early 2007.
