Using this advanced technology, DSC provides phone survey applications integrating interactive voice response (IVR software). Telephone surveys can be conducted using an inbound telephone survey campaign. Outbound phone surveys can be initiated by sending automated survey calls to respondents using voice broadcast services.

Automated phone surveying systems can contact potential survey respondents and play an introductory message. The respondent is then given the option to take this survey, leave a voice message, hear additional information, talk with one of your representatives or simply decline to participate in the phone survey.

The automated phone survey can be programmed to accept touchphone responses or can simply record each question response for later transcription and analysis.

Telephone Surveys and VoiceXML


Database Systems Corp. supports VoiceXML data access logic that makes external requests for information over the internet via a Voice Portal. Using this technique, IVR survey respondents can be given information maintained anywhere on the web. Using Text To Speech application software, text information can be retrieved via discreet VoiceXML messages to other web sites (or servers) and this information is converted into a phone message and automatically played to the call survey caller. Survey results can be immediately forwarded to another data processing center using our VoiceXML procedures.

DSC provides developers with and automatic Survey Generator that guides the user through a step by step process of defining an IVR phone survey. The developer can designate English or Spanish as the primary language and specify if survey question responses are either touchphone key responses or recorded voice responses.
