Change the configuration

  1. Make changes as needed to Primary Sip Server:
    1. Service Domain: Usually the IP address of the SIP server
    2. Registrar Server: Usually the IP address of the SIP server
    3. Proxy Server: Usually the IP address of the SIP server
    4. Normally, the port number would not need to be changed from 5060 unless the service requires it, such as Vonage.
  2. Make changes as needed to User Accounts:
    1. Phone Number: The numeric phone number (DID or Extension) assigned to this phone. Often this is the same as authentication ID.
    2. Phone Name: The caller ID Name field identifying this phone during outgoing calls. Also displayed on LCD. This is not critical to have set to a particular value.
    3. Authentication ID: The SIP user account name that must be used to log into the registration server or authenticate calls.
    4. Password: The SIP password for authentication.
  3. Press Apply to save the configuration. Reboot phone if necessary.
