333Very Happy With Unlimitel
Their pricing is great. The detail they give when there are system issues is impressive. I've always been happy with the call quality.
Bottom line, I have always steered any of my friends looking for VOIP service to Unlimitel.

We do use a carrier class telephone switch that can handle up to 80 PRI-T1 on one chassis (we currently use 32 PRI-T1). Our G729 codec is being provided by our VoIP DSP card inside our telephone switch.
If you want to use G729, you need to have a static IP address and we will set you up on our G729 system. We actually setup the system so that when you use G729, the RTP packets are sent directly to our VoIP DSP Card and are not handle by the Asterisk servers.
Thank you for the positive comment.

We got them as main incoming lines on most of our clients PBx's and as backups on our smaller clients setups.. and in the last 4 years they seem to be one of the more reliable providers in Canada. and we have done steady business with pretty much all the major players asterick friendly!
They got decent rates
are very reliable
support is really good
great for ring down (they play a proper busy signal not a msg when there is a problem!)
unlike some other providers who advertise that the line is unavailable so if you wanna have more then one provider to be safe
they tell you as soon as they know there is a problem.. wow a provider that actually cares about there clients (no one can touch them on this part!)
you know in advance (if they know, things break can't blame them!) and you have time to prepare.
what ever it is they give you as much info on it as they can get, so your informed and feel good about what they are doing
down sides..
at lunch they are at lunch.. (But can you blame them they are human!) and no one is available
they require you to pay the g729 license if you want to have g729(not that expensive), But gsm/g711) works fine. I think its because they run linux/asterisk and not a big expensive solution box (so they are savvy enough to run asterisk and save us money!)
so not much of a down side..

I hope they'll introduce the CallerID name soon..!
