What it is:

WeQ4U is an asterisk based system that waits in call center queues. It saves time and money by allowing the caller to terminate the call, notifying them when the agent is ready to handle the call.

How it works:

WeQ4U works from any UK 01, 02 or 07 number to almost all UK call centers.

It can be used from a landline by first dialling 0121 667 5969 and then the number of the call center. WeQ4U dials the number and connects the call. If there is a queue the caller dials 9* then hangs up. WeQ4U stays in the queue and as soon as an agent answers rings the callers phone twice while explaining to the agent that the caller is coming to the phone. The caller hits last number redial (or 0121 667 5969) and is immediately connected to the agent.

It can be used from smartphones using either the iPhone App or Android App. Money savings from mobiles can be very good, instead of the 0870 rates charged by most operators, the call through WeQ4U is included in regular minutes
