I use 5 Yuxin 500 in IAX2 mode but the communication is only in half duplex. Is it possible to switch to full duplex and ears and speaks in the same time?

In SIP that's the same, impossible to ear when you speak.

I use the Yuxin 500 in IAX2 mode but the cmmuncation is only in half duplex. Is it possible to ear and speek in the same time with this phone?

Is it possible to have full duplex in SIP mode?

Because of the in phone switching regulator this phone works great with DC direct.
I will run from 7 - 20 volts with no problems.
The current drops off as voltage increases.
Any buzzing problems also go away.

Not sure how to turn off the loud annoying voice prompts that come out
out of the hands free speaker when feature buttons are pressed.
The on phone menu system is a pain to navigate.
The documentation is lacking and poorly written.
Seems like there is allot of extra fetures that are too confusing to figure out from the documentation.

Audio quality is good, bootup is less then 30 seconds to being able to place calls, unit works well.

After Upgrading these phone's from 1.45 (sip) to 1.49 (iax) everything is working very good, no troubels with routing we programing the phone in the centrall office. The user take the phone to his office anywhere, put it on the net and it's logs in. In the old situation we had to programming everything from ip adress to gateway ect. to use the sip protocol.

We have flash almost 70 phones whith the Palm tool over the net, als to the remote office's

Conclusion cheap but very usefull phone's to make a migration off old phone's to IP one's not to expences

For the last 8 months, I've been testing the YWH100 (mine is black) and these phonese are better than other IAX2 capable hardphones I've tried. The case looks decent (I'm hoping the YWH200 will be a good phone, it looks better).

Good:

The phone works very well with asterisk and doesn't not suffer from hum or clicks some of my other phones do, especially the initial click on connection. I probably need to upgrade the PA168S firmware.

Currently, MWI is shown on the LCD (with asterisk 1.0.9 1.46 firmware)
The LCD is very readable, the LEDs flash less than on the PA168S phones I have.
The factory ring sounds good
Digitmap makes it work well with asterisk
On-Off switch in rear. Does NOT kill the hub.
I actually suffered a power cut DURING an update and the "emergency" procedure works perfectly to restore. The phone can be re-provisioned using Palmtool even it it won't boot!

Not so good:

The latest IAX2 firmware 1.46 has apparently broken attended transfer. This is done with the less obvious HOLD (dial, talk) TRANSFER sequence.

The phone is still a little klunky looking - again waiting for the 200
