This page is dedicated to what the future MeetMe2 should be. Moc, bkw, anthm and others will be working on it, and are welcome to sugestions.
Here a list of feature that should be added, or need to thinked about when building MeetMe2
- customizable enter/leave sounds
- mute ourself
- moh when alone or waiting for a user
- wait user for a chairman
- use timer other than ztdummy or zaprtc; there are issues with Xen virtual server
- dynamic menu based on options
- monitor every channels
- hear a list of current active speaking channel
- record the conference
- kick people
- call people to make join the conference
- make conference quiet
- set person as a speaker
- beable to call externaly MeetMe function (from webpage/irc/whatever…)
- seperate pin for admins or regular users (admin mode based on pin)
- room reservations via dialplan (will read back an available conf room and you set admin/user pin for X hours/days)
- change admin/user pin via dialplan
- OT: script to recieve vcalendar invite to future meeting will automatically reserve room and mail participants login information.
- request to talk (User presses a key if they wish to talk; admin cycles through all users who wish to talk, user will here “you can talk now” when it is his/her turn)
- allow admins to talk with all admins or with indivudual users while the conference can be heared in the background for them
- single conference running on more then one asterisk server for scalability and stability (not sure how to best implement this due to DTMF and other problems)
- one pin per user, to know who the users in the meeting are (or any other form of authenticating the individual users)
- use names and recorded soundfiles from voice mail for user introduction
- store and reuse recorded names and other user information for futur conferences
- invite people for a current or future conference through app directory (for future conferences allow to schedule a call to call the user at the beginning)
- Integration with Jabber IM (messages on people entering/exiting etc)
