Astribank – The First USB Channel Bank For Asterisk Open Source PBX

Overview

Astribank is a revolutionary concept in channel banks for Asterisk systems. Astribank uses USB 2.0 ports to connect to the Asterisk server, eliminating the requirement for PCI (E1/T1) card and even for PCI slots. Astribank comes in various models which are all built of four types of modules: 8 port FXS, 8 port FXO, 1/2/3/4 port PRI and 2/4/8 port BRI ISDN.
Multiple Astribank units may be used on a single server using either different USB 2.0 ports, or using USB 2.0 hub or USB 2.0 PCI card, to easily create a system with hundreds of analog extensions. Considering its support in MSI (Message Waiting Indicator) in analog phones, it makes an especially practical solutions for large commercial implementations such as hotels.
