Im not sure how you would specify what ethernet connection to use to register or use a sip trunk on. But there are various ways to create different routs for calls. This can be done based on area code, country code or prefixing for a few examples. here is a prefix example

exten => _9NXXNXXXXXX,1,Dial(SIP/provider1/${EXTEN:1})
exten => _NXXNXXXXXX,1,Dial(SIP/provider2/${EXTEN})

so if you dial a 9 before a standard 10 digit North American number it goes ot via provider 1 and without the 9 it goes out via provider 2.

you can also use provider 1 as default and 2 as a failover. There are lots of possibilities

Dual SIP Providers different Internet connections

I have a Asterisk 1.6 on Linux system running fine with a single SIP provider, we want to add a second provider and a redundant Internet connection. I would settle for outbound only over the second (new) SIP provider if that is all we can achieve. Any example configurations or recommendations would be appreciated.
