Which HKBN SIP proxy are you using s21.hkbntel.net, s22.hkbntel.net, s23.hkbntel.net, or s24.hkbntel.net? I'm using s21.hkbntel.net with 2 accounts (one with the 'hk' suffix to the phone number and one without).

For both accounts, Asterisk can recognize the DTMF coming from someone calling into my HKBN phone number.

See ya...

Unable to response to key pressed by the caller

Posted:Tue 11 of Apr, 2006 (06:02 UTC)
I have applied a free trial HKBN 2b account before and the old number I got works perfectly with my Asterisk. When the caller pressed a key, Asterisk can response to them by following my dialplan.

When the trial period gone, I bought a 12-month package with USB phone and I have a new number. However, the new number cannot response to any key pressed by the caller in the exactly same environment. I am sure that HKBN has disabled this feature, but is there any way to by-pass it ??

Thanks in advance.
