I am currently using CISCO SPA525G2 with a CISCO SPA500S console attached, (its our receptionist's phone)
I am having some trouble transferring incoming calls to internal extension, using the console.
For example: When a call comes in I would like the receptionist to be able to put the person on hold, ring the internal staff member and announce to them that they have a call waiting. This doesn't seem to happen I can only use the console for blind transfers.
My work around at the moment is she has a sheet of paper with all the employee's extensions on it or the internal directory of the phone.
Is there anything I can do? I have looked at countless sources with no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
