Your first step would be to see the logs or the sip debug messages on your switch/gateway to see of any packets from your phone is hitting it. My advice to you is to first try it on an Asterisk with SIP debug on and see if the packets are hitting it and what Asterisk 'thinks' of the packets, if the packets are hitting it.

7940G - SIP Registration Issues

I have a 7940G , I've converted it from SCCP to SIP . I have configured the Line 1 Settings correctly, HOWEVER, it's got an X next to it. I can't get it to register i suppose. Any suggestions? I am not using FreePBX . I am using something called Simonics Google Voice Gateway, as i am not familiar with any other SIP Providers
