caller id information for india

This process worked for me. using
1.TDM400P 4 port fxo card
2.asterisk-1.2.11.tar
3.zaptel-1.2.8.tar
4.libpri-1.2.3.tar
5.Bsnl phone line(pstn)

1.Download the patch files from following web site
http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=6683

2.Patch the asterisk with the downloaded patch files by issuing following commands
cd channels
patch -p0 < diff.chan_zap.c.ring (will ask for a file to patch)
type file name as this chan_zap.c
3.Pattch asterisk with anather file name
patch -p0 < diff.chan_zap.c.polarity

4.set the zone for INDIA

zaptel.conf

1. Span 3: WCTDM/0 “Wildcard TDM400P REV E/F Board 1”

fxsks=1
fxsks=2
fxsks=3
fxsks=4

1. Global data

loadzone = in
defaultzone = in

load zaptel module with india settings
put following in modprobe.conf

install wctdm /sbin/modprobe –ignore-install wctdm opermode=INDIA && /sbin/ztcfg

restart your system

add following settings in zapata.conf

usecallerid=yes
cidsignalling=dtmf
cidstart=ring
