TIPS AvantFax number of retries

Where can I set the number of retries on failed faxes within AvantFax. I have it running on PBX 2021.

To change the number of retries for HylaFAX, you can edit the configuration file /etc/hylafax/config and modify the MaxDials parameter. By default, HylaFAX will make up to 5 attempts to send a fax. You can increase or decrease this number depending on your needs.

Once you have made the changes, you will need to restart the HylaFAX service for the changes to take effect. You can do this by running the command service hylafax restart.

It's important to note that changing the number of retries may increase the time it takes to process a failed fax, as HylaFAX will attempt to send the fax multiple times before giving up. However, increasing the number of retries may improve the chances of the fax being successfully transmitted.
