FYI Clearly Anywhere question

How do you configure the Clearly Anywhere app on your cell phone to connect to your server using Tailscale? I've been trying to figure this out but am stumped as well. I understand installing the Tailscale app on server and phone and can bring up IPBX 2025 on my phone browser when connected on the cellular network that is not whitelisted. It's configuring the Clearly Anywhere app to point to the Tailscale ip to connect. The configuration that you download points to the public PBX domain and I don't see anyplace you can modify the configuration to point to the Tailscale ip address. Any pointers on how this would be setup or what I'm missing would be appreciated.

I submitted a ticket with ClearlyIP and received the following response from Tech Support.

"The domain on the license would need to be changed, and we can change it, you would just need to tell us the IP/domain you wish to use."

So I guess I would just need to give them the Tailscale IP address of the IPBX 2025 server. Then when I download the config from the server it will use that ip address and as long as I have Tailscale enabled on my phone the Clearly Anywhere app should connect to the server over the Tailscale VPN and will not have to expose and SIP ports. It seems pretty simple but do you see anything I might be missing to get this working?

@dmmincrjr: Give it a try and see if it works. Be sure to disable Key Expiry for the iPBX2025 server in the Machines profile so you don't get locked out three months from now. This has been the major stumbling block for OpenVPN machines which do not have this option.
