High Disk Latency FreePBX 13.12.3 Ubuntu 18.04

Hi guys - I've recently installed Incredible PBX on a clean Ubuntu 18.04 install as per http://nerdvittles.com/?p=25930

I'm monitoring the virtual machine with Check_MK (Nagios) which is reporting very high I/O latency spikes every few minutes. Checking iotop doesn't show much in the way of processes that are particularly disk intensive.

I've disabled debug logging, which has helped slightly.

Are there any cron jobs or otherwise which could be causing the issue?

Resolved this issue - there were several cron jobs which pertained to FreePBX which I have disabled (one was the dashboard stats updates) Disabling this alone didn't bring the disk latency down. There were a couple of PHP related jobs too.
