Good morning and god bless everyone. I have completed another learning project in my quest for becoming a competent PBX'er. I have set up Incredible PBX 2021 on Crown Cloud. I highly recommend Crown Cloud, they have the best tech support and competitive pricing. I have 8 PBX's there that I practice and try to learn on (mostly destructive learning LOL). Anyway, follow Wards's instruction https://nerdvittles.com/morphing-incredible-pbx-into-a-public-facing-cloud-pbx/ , but in addition what I have accomplished in registering remote endpoints outside the local whitelisted network (android or apple) is using a WireGuard server on Crown Cloud Ubuntu. I used this script on the wireguard app on my android, the Keys are generated by the server and the Endpoint IP is the IP of the Ubuntu server running wireguard. I can now, for the first time register and make calls without the complex and tedious Travlin Man (don't get me wrong, Travlin Man is awesome), just I am not smart enough to know how to implicate it. Also, for those of you who want to set up a PJSIP trunk (problem not with a SIP trunk), if you run into the issue of dialing out on a REMOTE ENDPOINT, not a local whitelisted endpoint "all circuits are busy now" .....here is the fix...........under trunk, pjsip, advanced, make sure "from domain" (ip of the pbx server) and "from user" (the voip privider account, I use Voip.ms, so i put my sub account there, XXXXXX_incredible), are entered, also scroll down to "trust RPID/PAI" and select yes, "send RPID/PAI to both. Fixed! Just one more step closer to going public and maybe commercial! with Incredible PBX!

[Interface]

Greatest and warmest thanks goes out to Ward, of which none of this would be possible without Ward's genius.

Just for your own edification, Incredible PBX is a fork of the FreePBX project with some branding and some modifications like disabling signature checks, etc. It has ClearlyIP modules for commercial functionality in replacement of the FreePBX commercial modules (which can't be used by Incredible PBX).

90%+ of what is in Incredible PBX was not designed, developed or is maintained by Ward. If one of your modules has a bug and isn't working right, you have to file a report with either Sangoma or ClearlyIP (depends on module). If you want new features or improvements to existing modules like Ring Groups, Outbound Routes, Queues, etc... in Incredible PBX. Same thing, you need to request it from Sangoma or ClearlyIP depending on who is maintaining said module.

thank you, sorry I did not know that Samot, no disrespect intended, I just wanted to show Ward my gratitude for all the great articles written helping no so smart individuals like myself as I have learned much of what i know (which is not very much) from individuals like Ward, i will heed your advice and thank you for responding and enlightening me, joe Just so you know Samot, I am an avid FreePBX user that has purchased many commercial modules, I just use Incredible PBX as a learning tool.

You'll have to excuse @Samot. He undervalues everyone's contributions... except his own. Oh wait. Where are those?
Yet what I stated is still true, unless you have somehow developed and published a bunch of those modules in FreePBX that I am unaware of. Perhaps a ClearlyIP module? Is there a place here that deals with bugs and feature updates of these modules in their own stream outside of FreePBX or ClearlyIP?

As for my contributions, those go to the upstream. This project has no clear-cut structure for such thing outside of making forum posts. So since I've solved issues in forums posts, I guess that counts.

Because you're too lazy to look, let me give you just a brief list of free components in Incredible PBX that you won't find at all in Sangoma's distro or the FreePBX product. Feel free to list yours as well, @Samot. We'll wait... In the meantime, you might want to brush up on what a System Integrator is and does.

Correct, these are the parts of Incredible PBX that you have contributed/developed. I never said you didn't do that. Incredible PBX is a fork of FreePBX and it runs ClearlyIP commercial modules, that is fact. You spent time and effort on all the above, that's really cool. This is fact too.

But that list was rather informative, I've learned something and now I understand better.

Ward is doing a great service to the community by putting in his time and effort with no financial motive. I have been following Ward from asterisk@home days (2004-2005). He is the reason how I got introduced to Linux, bash scripts, VoIP and many other things. He has shown a path to numerous members here in this forum and also people from all around the world. All this, with only "spirit of service" and distribution of his knowledge.
His contribution is immense.
