TIPS Incredible PBX 2027 public facing

I am about to build IPBX 2027 on a instance in vultr. DO i need a vpn from my office to the instance or will firewall rules with dns suffice?

You have several options. You can just white-list the IP or IP range and still have a very secure system. VPN's are good but mostly unneeded so long as you don't have roaming users.

There is not currently a "go public" script for IncrediblePBX-2027. If you have roaming users, you can set them up with a DDNS client and use the features of IncrediblePBX Travelin' Man firewall to constantly update the whitelist, depending on the current report from you DDNS client.

The other mobile option is to set up a VPN on the system and let your remotes run a VPN client.

Thanks that helps a lot. Traveling ma is prob best for me cause all my sites have ddns for the dynamic ip addressing. maybe wireguard for the mobile devices tho?
