I've just come across this VPS provider's offer on LowEndBox.
In a nutshell LosAngelesVPS offers KVM in LA, CA with 1xCPU, 1GB RAM, 25GB SSD, 1gbps net, unlimited bandwidth, 1 public IP for $19/yr.
The OS selection is not up to date but I'm assuming that they can be called on for newer versions.
Anyone with any experience or knowledge with this provider?

I've seen many of those come and go. Think of even the power cost requirements not to mention the server management costs and networking. ... I'd say buyer beware, and definitely don't put anything on it that is mission critical or something you couldn't afford to lose. Personally, I wouldn't touch it.

@krzykat : Thanks for the warning. My gut feeling was telling me the same but I was wondering if the prices came down big time while I had my head elsewhere :)
@wardmundy : Thanks for the pointer. I indeed missed that interesting reading material.

Along with Vultr as mentioned above I've used buyvm.net for tinkering for a 6-7 years. $3.50 per month for 1024, inexpensive backups, 5 snapshots, you can upload ISOs, and inexpensive (shared) DDOS protection. Typical WHM interface.

Some of the low end of the low end are really bad. Not just uptime or fly by night, I had one where the clock lost a few minutes everyday
