I HAVE A DREAM Reminders with SMS/MMS option

Wondering what would be involved to get reminders to work with SMS/MMS if the voip trunk supports it.

The problem is that virtually every VoIP provider has implemented SMS/MMS a different way. So whatever is developed would necessarily be provider-specific which we at least prefer to avoid.
