QUESTION stun server

my understanding is you are connecting the 2 pfsense firewall through VPN(site to site VPN). Just out of curiosity, how is your internet speed on this configuration? If you have asymmetric internet (most cable internet are asymmetric) usually the internet speed is significantly lower.

i have a dedicated fiber in our office (older building with dedicated fiber, i got lucky)
but anyways, i don't share the speed just because i am on openvpn. its only a connection between networks. each location has their own speeds

hi sorry for not giving info

my firewall is pfsense both at the server (dedicated fiber and dedicated server for the pbx) and at my hawaii home (running a business internet line).
i setup incrediblepbx 16 http://nerdvittles.com/?p=30642

i did ./add-ip ..... for my public IP for the pbx server at las vegas location
i did that again for my remote public IP in hawaii
in the gui sip settings, i added my remote lan IP 192.168.2.0/24 as a local subnet
i also added the tunnel subnet 10.0.1.0/30 as a local subnet
my main lan back at the server is 192.168.1.0/24

i moved to Hawaii and these issues started happening. before moving here, i was in las vegas and the main office is in las vegas, but i had remote phones at home and at my parents home and they were working fine. its only after i moved here to hawaii.

any advance on what this can be?
How is your project going? When you were in Las Vegas your home phones and your parents home were they behind a pfsense router or something else? If was something else then the only true variable you introduced is the second pfsense.

hi
yes everything is exactly the same as it was the last 4 years, 2 pfsense firewalls, one by the server and one by my house.
now its the same, same pfsense by my house. the only difference is that i moved from vegas to hawaii, and somehow here its causing issues.
i think i will just make a new PBX server here and either connect it to the first one or just use it here for my local phones.
all my other phone lines that are in vegas, chicago and baltimore (office lines) are working perfectly and all locations connect via openvpn using pfsense

It is very weird indeed. Did you consider a cloud PBX? If that works for you, it could consolidate all the offices to one server. Vultr has been very reliable, has snapshots which are extremely valuable when you mess up with the system and for an extra $1 you can do also backups. If i understand correctly you wont need to add PUBLIC to the regular iPBX install. PUBLIC has some nice features but adds a lots more possible complications during the install. I myself tried once long time ago PUBLIC and did not go well. Here is where snapshots come to be very valuable. Take a snapshot before applying PUBLIC and if you get stuck or not like it then you are one click away from going back to prior configuration
