Suggestions for new install, errors

Have been running incrediblePBX successfully for many (many) years .. and it's been > 20 years since my initial asterisk implementation.

Now opening new offices and decided to start fresh. I have a few questions for the team here:

a) Our company uses AWS for infrastructure so the operations team prefers AWS - what's the recommended install for a new implementation there? We've started on Ubuntu with incrediblepbx 2021 and it's mostly functional but having audio issues. I'm guessing that's because we're using BOTH Amazon's security (seems the right ports are open but still no audio) AND the iptables firewall. I've not seen much discussion of implementing on AWS - interested in why that is ..

b) So I tried a brand new 2022 rocky 8 install but getting this (javascript popup) error on 1st attempt to connect to GUI:

open(/var/opt/remi/php56/lib/php/session/sess_r9g36ovga8vlrspcrmha1o5je5, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13)

I don't recommend Ubuntu or Rocky 8. Debian 10 with IncrediblePBX2021 is the most stable and reliable platform at this point. Debian 11 with IncrediblePBX2022 is relatively new and has a few kinks.

Better get those kinks ironed out pretty soon for Debian 11. Debian 10 will go EOL soon. It is already past the unofficial EOL date. Just no official announcement yet,

Ward has a full Debian 11 IncrediblePBX release. More people need to use it and see if any more issues arise. I'm running it on five cloud servers without issue but I'm using it in a pretty uncomplicated way.
