I have a zoom 5801 analogue telephone adapter which is registered to 3CX as a extension and connected to a United Kingdom analogue landline.

The analogue phone when picked up connects directly to the 3CX extension and can call to any extension on 3CX and from 3CX extension to the phone plugged into the 5801.

But when calling the landline or the extension neither auto answers on the 5801 as I was expecting it to.

Both VoIP to PSTN and PSTN to VoIP bridging are enabled.

Has anybody had any success with these?

Analogue phones cant interpret the off hook signal so can't be made via sip protocol to 'auto answer'. SOME phones have this as an inbuilt feature of the phone and can be set to auto-answer, but this would be independant of the 5801.
