Here is the block of text you would enter in iax.conf if you were extension 500. Remember, this is an IAX peer not a SIP peer. I’ve been very impressed with the NAT traversal and voice quality of this piece of software. Most impressive though is the developer’s response time in fixing bugs and adding features. Even in it’s current state, it’s well worth the sub-$20 shareware fee. I’ll add more to this as I use it more.
Also, remember that IAX2 runs on port 4569
