CounterPath Rolls Out New Version of Bria Mobile for iOS and Android
As a leading provider of award-winning, over-the-top (OTT) Unified Communications (UC) solutions for enterprises and carriers, CounterPath Corporation continues to push the boundaries of business communication by creating new solutions that empower people to seamlessly connect, communicate, and collaborate. One solution that helps deliver immersive communications experiences for businesses is CounterPath’s innovative mobile VoIP app, the Bria Mobile. As the industry’s most reliable, feature-rich communications applications developed for Apple iOS and Android, Bria Mobile allows businesses and their employees to communicate and collaborate while at work, at home, or even on the go.
“Bria Mobile puts Enterprise voice, video, and messaging services into the pockets of users who rely heavily on their mobile device,” said Todd Carothers, the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at CounterPath. “With Bria Mobile, users’ mobile devices become the single device for communications,” continued Carothers. “With this release of Bria Mobile and our launch of Bria 5 last month, we are setting the stage for additional services such as advanced collaboration and messaging for Enterprise users that will provide an unbeatable user experience across against call server infrastructure. There is no need to upgrade, just overlay the Bria Mobile experience to what is deployed today.”
Just recently, CounterPath released an enhanced version of its Bria softphone client for Android and iOS devices, which is available from iTunes and the Google Play store through a new subscription model. The new version allows Bria Mobile users to have access to new feature content and services that were only once offered as subscriptions or add-on purchases to services available separately of the application. “With the advent of our subscription service, our new push services allow Bria to run seamlessly in the background without any battery loss on the mobile or tablet device,” said Carothers. Plus, the enhanced version also comes ready for HD video and audio, bringing the Bria experience to any device over any call platform across any network.
