The IP501 offers support for up to 3 lines, dual onboard ethernet ports, PoE LCD display and full-duplex speakerphone for crystal clear conference calls. Note that the Soundpoint IP-501 requires an additional cable assembly in order to do PoE. Polycom offers this cable assembly in two distinct versions: One for environments switched and powered by Cisco switches, and a second for environments switched and powered by standard, 802.3af compliant PoE switches.
