Virtual numbers for your customer service

Author image

Virtual phone numbers are usually provided by hosted PBX service providers as part of their regular service. A caller can call these numbers from any location without incurring any long distance charges. A virtual phone number is mapped to the regular telephone number. Calls to this number are routed using VoIP technology, wherein they are diverted to the actual number. Hence the lower cost.

Customers need to subscribe with hosted pbx service providers for this service. Virtual phone numbers are provided according to area codes. Dialing from these area codes therefore gets the calls registered as local. Customers are charged a small monthly fee for this service.
