Outstanding issues, ackhnowledged by manufacturer and being dealt with

  • message button doesn't dial voicemail, but is only intended to show the number of messages waiting
  • cancel button doesn't back out of the menu, instead you have to press OK or lift the handset
  • call waiting indicator tone is too loud and the pitch is too high - too intimidating
  • spaces in phone numbers in the phone book are not trimmed before dialling
  • UK tones setting doesn't sound UK at all, more like German indication tones
  • Japanese tones setting sounds alien, never heard anything like it before ;-)

Asterisk support

This phone works well with Asterisk and the manufacturer is committed to work on their firmware to ensure Asterisk interoperability.
