i am about to dump broadvoice... their tech support consists of someone saying "it's B.Y.O.D.". doesn't actually support asterisk. but before dumping them it might be fun to get it working. has anyone succeeded in getting outbound calls going through BV? i have inbound working, but outbound always says "all circuits are busy now".g

I have it working

I have had broadvoice working for about a year now. I have been pretty happy with the service so far. Let me know what you have in your trunk settings so far and I will see if I can help.

As the other poster noted, it is probably due to your trunk settings. My guess would be in the format of your register string. I have an unsupported set of trunks with Digital Voice via SIP. I had to figure out the format that my provider liked in order to enable outgoing calls.

Your wallet will be much better off by kissing BroadVoice goodbye. Read their terms of service for a real eye-opener.

I had LOADS of problems getting them going. Most of the time it was because their proxy locked out my account if my IP address changed too often. Then I had to sit on hold for 30-45 minutes to get some horrible person on the other end telling me basically too bad. I had them for about 2 weeks with a lot of problems. When I got it working, it worked well. Voice quality was good, no real outages. But their customer service is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with from any service. So, if you can get it working it will probably work well. If not, you are in for a world of hurt.
