Not to worry. Just be glad it's not Elon time. Been waiting 4 years for Tesla's Full Self Driving which was just around the corner.

Hey Tony, is now considered "very very near future" ?? :innocent:

ya sorry lots of competing interest on projects. We have it working with Clearly phones, yealink and Grandstream. We will be entering private free beta soon. If interested PM me and I will get you on the list.

Not sure if this is the right place or not, but when working with the manager on my box, some of the dialogs seem to be in the wrong language.

Has anyone provisioned a VVX 501 using this? I have 5 VVX 500s working great, but you can't get those anymore and but need two more. Closest I could find are 501s.

FOR INCREDIBLE PBX 2020 SYSTEMS ONLY
I updated EPM to 14.0.3 before doing the
cd /
wget http://incrediblepbx.com/endpointman.tar.gz as @wardmundy script above, and as tutorial.

(Minor point that script leaves you in /root/endpointman and you may wish to add 'cd .. ' to the script )
Problem fPBX disabled EPM now requires downgrade thus:

OSS PBX End Point Manager 14.0.3 Stable GPLv3+ Disabled; Pending Downgrade to 14.0.2.1
after that I reckon I need to redo the script.

By the way I did the 2 line fix from the tutorial for good measure
Code:
cd /var/www/html/admin/modules/endpointman/install
cp setup.php /var/www/html/admin/modules/_ep_phone_modules/
cd /root/

After the downgrade, you can upgrade in Module Admin and not lose anything. No idea why.

@wardmundy I have just done a reinstall of OSS-EPM
Had to redo the downgrade and upgrade again and the 2 line fix for Update Bug again.
Next I got the unsigned module(s) notification.
QUESTION Should the
Code:
cd /root/
/root/sig-fix
be slipped into the tutorial?

Hello All,

I seem to be having difficulties getting this to work. Any advice or suggested reads are much appreciated. I have ran Wards script successfully. When I make a template, it doesn't seem to create the config in the /tftpboot/ folder. I'm a bit stumped.

A few questions... This doesn't seem to be in the Debian IncreiblePBX 2021.

Does it work in a cloud deployment, it seems there would be security issues with pulling configs over the cloud.

Does it work with 2021? And it said it required the base EPM module which I don't see. Back to reading, but thought I'd ask before I spent too much time chasing something that may not be useful for our situation.

Following the guidelines - I almost have it working on 2021. Am getting an error when trying to provision a Yealink phone using V80 (A T20).

SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1364 Field 'global_custom_cfg_data' doesn't have a default value

I originally had Sangoma SIP Station but have moved to Skytel & IncrediblePBX. I received 3 free Sangoma Phones S500's. I have a 25 year license for Endpoint Manager from Sangoma and I would like to use it in IncredibilePBX. How can I port Endpoint Manager from Sangoma, especially since Sangoma phones are not listed in the phone menu for OSS PBX Endpoint Manager, into IncredibilePBX?

Thank you

You can't. Commercial modules are only supported on the FreePBX Distro.

Well, that is a bummer. Then if Sangoma is not in the list in the OSS PBX Endpoint Manager, then how can I program them without going to each phone?

Thank you,

Batman

  1. For just three phones I'd probably manually config.
  2. Configure one and create a template use with a little search and replace magic for the other two to serve yourself.
  3. Use above to create a template for OSS EPM.
  4. Use the distro.
  5. Wait for FreePBX16 and pray the switch to ioncube allows them to open up some support non-distro support for commercial modules. EPM would be the least likely to be supported off-distro because of the deeper system level dependencies.

Wasn't clearlyIP opening up their endpoint manager to allow management of some other phones? I know they weren't going to make it as deep/comprehensive so that the clearlyIP phones were still the most advantageous to get, but I know they spoke of still supporting other phones.

Thank you. I will try that.

Curious question then: Why aren't Sangoma Phones included in the OSS Endpoint Manager?

Thx.
