I spent a few $$ and went with the Speechelo Pro. Gives me more voices and the background music.

I still like Speechelo. I get very human sounding recordings from it and don't need music or a wide variety of non-English voices. Here are a couple of examples.

It does sound good, and if you want the Music background, feel free to do it yourself with Audacity or pay a few extra bucks for the Pro. Note: Pro comes with a bunch of upgraded voices as well.

I already have to use Audacity to take the MP3, increase volume, decrease bass and increase treble, and save at 8Khz, 16-bit wav file. The mp3 imported directly into FreePBX without some "doctoring" sounds pretty bad.

Love that product ... I've been using it for 20 years now.

It is a resell of Amazon Polly... Just a huge marketing machine. Write yourself an Interface to Polly and pay Amazon directly... it's DIRT cheap, and no marketing hype every two seconds.
