TIPS Interconnecting VitalPBX and Incredible PBX

correct.................just realized when press 1 for the callback queue, it then rings extension 800!!!??? not the queue..i think we just have it down to a routing issue?

Change it to the ring group you created and make sure it is 400# in the ring group

yes the IPBX ring group has 400#, and the VPBX inbound route has CID pattern 8XX to destination queus callback.........just tested again, when press 1 i get the VPBX extension to ring, not transfer to callback queue?

No. In the IVR Breakout menu where they press '1' for the callback queue, change the number it calls to the extension of the ring group I had you create on IncrediblePBX.

yes that was the way it always has been.......in the breakout IVR on IPBX, press 1 transfers you to the ring group with extension 400X in it. so it MUST be transfering the call to VPBX but it rings the VPBX extension 400 (the extension actually rings!) RATHER than transfering it to the destination queus callback, so i think it is a routing issue on VPBX

Then why is it ringing extension 800 when you press 1?

it does not, it rings 400, and the inbound destination on VPBX for ext. 400 is set to queues callback module..............just not sending it there?? it actually rings the phone with ext. 400 set up on it.

OK. I'm at a loss. It may be that VitalPBX deliberately disallows callback queuing from trunks outside their system. You may need to post on their forums to see what they have to say or if you have purchased their support, see if they can assist. I think I've gone as far as I can go.

OK ken, you have nbeen great! I owe you many beers! let me play with it and i will get back to you, we will get this figured out, joe

Probably best to use the forum direct messaging. We've clogged up this thread with info that is not useful to others.

Good morning Ken, I figured out i guess you would call a work around. Since everything we tried did not work, in VPBX under extensions, extension status, actions............I activated CFI (call forward immediately, and in the drop down selected the module "queue callback" and then destination "queue callback" and not it works! Ken i cant tell you how much i really appreciate you help all the time, you have always been the first to answer and help me out, your friend, Joe

@wardmundy you might want to moves posts 7 to the end of the thread to a separate thread or simply delete them since they have nothing to do with "Waiting on Hold" which is what the thread was opened for.

It was easier to move the first 6 and rename this thread, but thanks!
